It’s been a decade since Michael Myers returned to Haddonfield. But tonight, that’s going to change! While being transferred from the Ridgemont Maximum Security Hospital, Myers, who’s been in a coma for the last ten years, awakens when he hears that he has a niece back in Haddonfield and escapes to find her. Meanwhile, Myers’ niece Jamie Lloyd (daughter of the recently deceased Laurie Strode) is having nightmares about her evil uncle. Her step-sister, Rachel Corruthers, takes her out trick-or-treating, but instead of finding a night of fun, they find a night of terror!
Dr. Loomis also survived the explosion from ten years earlier and he tracks Michael back to Haddonfield. Enlisting the help of Sheriff Ben Meeker, together they find and shelter Jamie and Rachel in Meeker’s safe house unaware that Myers has found them too. Myers makes his way in, taking his revenge on those inside … Kelly, Deputy Logan, and Brady cannot escape his wrath. Jamie escapes to the local schoolhouse, but her fiendish uncle is hot on her track. A high-paced finale leaves Myers buried in hell or is he?

Goof: During the scene where Michael drives his thumb through the paramedics head in the ambulance you can see that the arm is fake.
Continuity: “He Murdered 16 people, may be more trying to get to his sister.” – Michael Myers only killed 13 people on Halloween 1978. Phelps’s Mechanic, Annie, Bob, Lynda, Alice, Mr. Garrett, Budd, Karen, Dr. Mixture, Janet, Mrs. Alves, Jill, The Marshal.
Goof: When Hoffman is typing Michael’s name on the report he uses an M. for his middle initial. Michael’s middle name is Audrey. Even though that was established in the TV cut, it is still cannon to the series.
Goof: After Loomis shoots Myers in the gas station he goes to the window to look outside. As the camera pans in, you can see the crew’s reflection in the glass.
Dr. Hoffman: “If Loomis read memos he’d be here. Fortunately, his position is more ceremonial than medical. And with Myers gone, my hope is that he’ll either transfer, retire, or die.”
Dr. Loomis: “You’re talking about him as if he were a human being. That part of him died years ago.”
Dr. Loomis: “Six bodies, Sheriff! That’s what I’ve seen between here and Ridgemont! A filling station in flames! I’m telling you Michael Myers is here, in this town! He’s here to kill that little girl and anybody who gets in his way!”
Jack Sayer: “Apocalypse, End of the World, Armageddon. It’s always got a face and a name. I’ve been huntin’ the bastard for 30 years, give or take. Come close a time or two. Too damn close! You can’t kill damnation, Mister. It don’t die like a man dies.”
