Paul Rudd’s film debut; it was filmed before Clueless (1995), his first big-screen appearance.

Brian Andrews was considered to reprise his role as Tommy Doyle from the original Halloween. However, Andrews did not have an agent, so no one could get in contact with him.

Danielle Harris was set to return in Halloween 6, but after going through several hurdles to reprise the role the studio ultimately wouldn’t pay the fee she needed just to break even and her part was recast.

Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers is the only Halloween film to be shot in the fall. It was initially filmed in fall of 1994.

Even though Clueless was released in theaters before Halloween, this is technically Paul Rudd’s film debut as Halloween was shot in the fall of ’94.

Debra and John Strode were named after John Carpenter and Debra Hill.

It was Daniel Farrands who suggested that the film be called ‘The Curse of Michael Myers’ due to the troubled production.

Howard Stern was originally offered the role as radio “shock jock” Barry Simms, but turned it down.

Denise Richards auditioned for the role of Kara Strode.

Winter came a little early in Utah that year and the production had to deal with snow in addition to the cold weather during filming.
