Halloween VI Goofs

HALLOWEEN VI GOOFS / CONTINUITY

Goof: When Tommy Doyle is on the phone w/ Barry Simms, he’s holding the phone in his right hand. In the very next shot, he’s typing with his right hand and it immediately cuts back to him holding the phone.

Continuity: When Jamie is impaled on the farming equipment blood is running from her mouth as she reaches out for Michael. When they cut back to her, it’s gone.

Continuity: In the theatrical version, when Jamie’s body is taken out of the barn, you can see there is a knife in her stomach. This contradicts her death from earlier. In the producer’s cut of the film, Jamie was only stabbed in the barn and was still alive the next day.

Continuity: When John Strode gets killed in the basement of the Myers house, his hair goes from dry to wet in a matter of seconds.

Goof: When Beth answers the phone in Kara’s bedroom she uses a cordless phone. Myers had already cut off the power to his house and the phone would not have worked without power.

Continuity: During the entire film Tommy never wears a belt, yet when he enters the Maximum Security Ward at Smith’s Grove he’s wearing one and does so for the rest of the film. These scenes were re-shoots for the theatrical cut of the film.

Goof/Spoiler: If you pause the DVD/Blu-Ray (on the theatrical version of the film) during the montage scene’s you can see that Dr. Wynn is the man in black long before his reveal at the end.

Goof: When Tommy replays Jamie’s call, there’s an announcement at the bus station. When Jamie actually makes that call, you don’t hear that announcement.
