Goof: During the scene where Michael drives his thumb through the paramedics head in the ambulance you can see that the arm is fake.
Continuity: “He Murdered 16 people, may be more trying to get to his sister.” – Michael Myers only killed 13 people on Halloween 1978. Phelps’s Mechanic, Annie, Bob, Lynda, Alice, Mr. Garrett, Budd, Karen, Dr. Mixture, Janet, Mrs. Alves, Jill, The Marshal.
Goof: When Hoffman is typing Michael’s name on the report he uses an M. for his middle initial. Michael’s middle name is Audrey. Even though that was established in the TV cut, it is still cannon to the series.
Goof: After Loomis shoots Myers in the gas station he goes to the window to look outside. As the camera pans in, you can see the crew’s reflection in the glass.
Goof: As Michael searches thru Jamie’s closet, there is a behind the scenes picture from Halloween of Jamie Lee Curtis waiting for Annie to pick her up.
Goof: As Brady and Michael are standing on the landing in front of the large window, Michael lunges at Brady to block him from being shot. If you look closely, the shot of Michael coming forward is not from that scene as the front door is behind him.
Continuity: When Loomis & Jamie are in the schoolhouse Michael pops out & throws Loomis thru the window. The mask used for this scene was an unaltered Kirk/style mask w/ blonde hair and flesh color.
Continuity: As the truck approaches the State Trooper… Jamie is sitting to the left of Rachel. In the very next shot, Jamie is sitting on her lap to the right. In the next shot, Jamie is back on the left side.
Continuity: As Michael is reaching into the truck grabbing for Rachel, he pulls her sweater open, in the next shot it’s buttoned back up again.
Goof: The character of Lindsey is incorrectly credited as Leslie (The actress’s real name) in the film’s final credits.
